Kanye West reportedly made a bizarre diatribe about singer Lenny Kravitz during his New York gig on Sunday, without realising the star was in the audience.
The rapper interrupted his Madison Square Garden concert for a 20 minute rant, reports Page Six, in which he referred to himself as the biggest rock star on the planet.
The comments were made in front of a sell-out crowd, which included Leonardo DiCaprio, Idris Elba, Busta Rymes and John McEnroe.
Page Six reported that an embarrassed Lenny, 49, was heard saying: 'He doesn’t know I’m here,' after he was referred to as a nice, well-mannered guy.
Kanye said he was envious of people that are likeable like Lenny, and that he wished he could be more like that.
The eccentric star, who got engaged to Kim Kardashian last month, also complimented his pal Jay Z, and Drake, as geniuses.
The comments were made during a dramatic stage show which saw the 36-year-old cover his face with a mask, only taking it off at the very end.
The following day, the outspoken star called on fans to boycott Louis Vuitton after he was snubbed by the firm's vice-president, Yves Carcelle.
