Ozzy Osbourne refuses to be treated like a celebrity when he attends Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
The 65-year-old rocker relapsed into drug and alcohol abuse earlier this year after seven years of sobriety, but he is now once again clean and attends as many AA meetings as he can to help him stay on the wagon.
However, Ozzy admits it's difficult to attend the support group meet-ups because he is recognized by many other recovering addicts.
He said: "I went to one and this guy came up and said, 'I've always wanted to be at a meeting with Ozzy Osbourne.' So I said to him, 'Hey, when I'm in this room I'm no better than you, because if we go out and have a drink, we're f**king both dead, so let's leave it at that.' "
The Black Sabbath star also refuses to take photographs with fellow attendees who happen to be fans because he feels it would inappropriate.
In an interview with NME magazine, Ozzy explained: "If someone asks for a photograph I'll say no, because I'm not there to do photographs - I'm there to save my f**king life! I feel like an a*****e but if you do one, you've got to do 15. It's not my ego, it's my life."
Ozzy's wife Sharon, 61, was furious when she discovered the extent of his relapse - which included drinking and abusing amphetamines, Ritalin, valium and sleeping pills - and threatened to end their 32-year marriage if he didn't get clean.
The rock legend, who briefly lived apart from Sharon earlier this year as he battled his demons, says he totally agreed with her drastic ultimatum.
Ozzy - who has three children, Aimee, Kelly and Jack, with Sharon - said: "I thought I was gonna lose my family at one point.
"She just said, 'Look, I've got my own thing going on and I can't deal with you anymore. Get the f**k out, sort yourself out, then we'll talk.' I don't blame her in the slightest."
Brad Pitt is planning to enjoy a belated 50th birthday celebration in Australia next weekend.
The '12 Years a Slave' star decided not to do anything to mark the milestone in London today (12.18.13) in favor of waiting a few days to enjoy a small party with his fiance, Angelina Jolie, and their six children, who are currently in Sydney.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: "He's not doing anything for it and he said he doesn't want any surprises."
The insider also suggested that Brad has buried himself in his work, as he is self-conscious about hitting the half-century mark, adding. "He really doesn't want to talk about his birthday much."
Brad, who previously insisted he had "no complaints" about getting older, is currently filming his upcoming movie, 'Fury' in the UK, while Angelina is working in Australia and caring for their kids, Maddox, 12, Pax, nine, Zahara, eight, Shiloh, seven, and twins Vivienne and Knox, five.
The source said: "Brad said he's going to celebrate his birthday this weekend in Australia. That's going to be the only thing he does."
The couple are also planning to celebrate Christmas abroad next week but will be together.
An insider said: "They're used to celebrating wherever they're working."
Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid have been dating for two months.
The 'Cougar Town' actress and the Snow Patrol rocker went public with their romance last week at her friend Jennifer Aniston's annual Christmas party, but they have reportedly been secretly going out for a while after meeting through mutual friend Ed Sheeran, who has been staying with the former 'Friends' star in Malibu, California, while working on his new album.
A source told Grazia magazine: "Ed decided to set them up. They got on amazingly and have been dating ever since."
Friends are delighted for the actress, as they say she had been feeling down since her divorce from David Arquette - who she split from in 2010 after 11 years of marriage - was finalized in May.
One insider said: "Johnny came along at the right time. Courteney is happier than ever."
The 49-year-old actress - who is 12 years older than her new boyfriend - has a nine-year-old daughter, Coco, with her ex-husband.
The actress previously dated her 'Cougar Town' co-star Brian Van Holt, but the pair split in October.
Charlie Sheen's manager and lawyer have quit.
The 'Anger Management' star's long-time team of advisors, including his manager, Mark Burg, entertainment lawyer, Jake Bloom, and publicist, Larry Solters, resigned from their posts last week, as he has stopped listening to their advice.
One insider told gossip website RadarOnline.com: "The bottom line was that Mark, Larry and Jake were unable to work effectively for Charlie. He is too much of a loose cannon at the moment with his increasingly erratic and bizarre behavior and outrageous statements. He was refusing to listen to their advice and counsel."
But a source close to the 48-year-old actor, who lashed out at his ex-wife Denise Richards in recent days for allegedly preventing him from seeing their daughters Sam, nine, and Lola, eight, over the Christmas holidays, insisted he terminated his team.
The insider said: "They didn't resign, they were all fired."
Another source said that Charlie's new girlfriend, Brett Rossi, is to blame for all of his recent issues.
The source said: "Things have been extremely chaotic in Charlie's camp for several weeks, ever since he began dating Brett.
"His team expressed concerns over the relationship... He was not happy with being questioned about who he was dating, so Charlie fired them all. Brett had also encouraged Charlie to get rid of Mark, Larry and Jason because she believed they didn't like her and were sabotaging the relationship.
"Brett is calling all the shots in Charlie's life at the moment and they have only known each other for six weeks! People close to Charlie believe the relationship will eventually fizzle out, but his career could be in tatters by that point."
Charlie is also embroiled in a bitter public battle with his ex-wife, Brooke Muller, with whom he has four-year-old twins, Bob and Max, and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services.
Lamar Odom's ex-girlfriend is supporting him in the wake of his split from Khloe Kardashian.
The 34-year-old basketball star has rekindled his friendship with Liza Morales, with whom he has two children, Destiny, 15, and Lamar Jr., 11, just days after the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star filed for divorce in Los Angeles after four-years of marriage.
A source told gossip website TMZ.com: "Lamar has been talking to Liza in the last few weeks, and she has been a tremendous source of strength for him. Khloe was always insanely jealous of Liza and that is why Lamar distanced himself. He now recognizes that was a mistake."
The former couple's daughter previously insisted a reunion would "never happen," when asked by a fan on her now deactivated ask.fm page.
Meanwhile, Khloe is reportedly "taking it really slow" with her new beau, Matt Kemp, who previously dated Rihanna.
A source told TMZ.com that the 29-year-old star and the LA Dodgers player have a lot in common, adding, "same neighborhood, same friends, and same love of family."
Rumors first surfaced that Khloe and Lamar's relationship was on the rocks over the summer after multiple women claimed to have slept with him amid allegations he is addicted to cocaine.
The former LA Lakers star is now desperately trying to get his basketball career back on track.
Katy Perry has admitted her relationship with John Mayer isn't always easy.
But the 'Roar' hitmaker, who has had an on/off relationship with the singer-songwriter since June 2012, hinted that they have worked through the majority of their issues since they reunited over the summer after she publicly declared her love for him in Vogue magazine while they were on a break.
During a joint interview on 'Good Morning America' to promote their new duet, 'Who You Love', on Tuesday (12.17.13), the 29-year-old star said: "Relationships are kind of like riding a bull. You hang on for dear life. Sometimes you get a little buck here and there and sometimes you get things thrown at you but you get back on."
Katy, who split from her ex-husband, Russell Brand, in December 2011 after 14-months of marriage, also revealed she got to know John, 36, better in the recording studio.
She said: "John has a very gentle, authentic touch to everything he does."
The couple confessed they were very nervous about their fans judging their relationship while promoting their new track.
John said: "We don't quite know what kind of body language we're supposed to be exhibiting.
"You get too close it's a little too touchy feely and you get too far away and people say 'I don't see chemistry.' "
But he added: "It's been really great."
Justin Bieber has claimed he is retiring.
The 19-year-old star, who has caused controversy in recent months for antics including partying underage in nightclubs and spray-painting public property in Australia, is planning to take a break from the music industry when his new album, 'Journals,' is released next week, and it could be permanent.
The 'Heartbreaker' hitmaker told radio station Power 106 in Los Angeles on Tuesday (12.17.13): "After the new album, I'm actually retiring man. I'm retiring."
He then suggested he hasn't quite made up his mind, adding: "I want to grow as an artist and I'm taking a step out, I want my music to mature."
But the singer is no longer attracted to the idea of fame.
He said: "I'm here solely for my fans and for the music."
A source close to Justin insisted he was just joking and has no plans to permanently hang up his microphone.
The insider said: "The kid's got ambition."
Justin also hit back at his critics and denied he is becoming increasingly "arrogant."
He said: "People think I'm arrogant, I'm not, I've always been a caring and giving person."
He added: "I'm 19 I'm gonna make mistakes it's inevitable."
Bruce Willis and his wife Emma Heming are expecting their second child together.
The 'Die Hard' star and the 35-year-old British model, who welcomed their first daughter, Mabel, in April 2012, are thrilled she is pregnant again.
A source confirmed the news to UsMagazine.com after Emma was spotted showing off her baby bump at a farmer's market in Los Angeles on Sunday (12.15.13).
The 58-year-old actor also has three daughters, Rumer, 25, Scout, 22, and Tallulah, 19, with his ex-wife, Demi Moore.
A source previously revealed that Bruce, who married Emma in 2009, is "very present and amazing with Mabel."
The insider also said that his brunette wife "is a very devoted mother, and supportive of him, so when he needs to work she steps up her mommy game."
Bruce had previously claimed he was indifferent to having children with Emma, as the only thing that mattered was being with her.
He said: "I'd like to have a thousand more children, or zero more children. It doesn't matter. Emma makes me feel great."
Kelly Rowland has confirmed she is engaged to her manager Tim Witherspoon.
The former Destiny's Child star - who was first rumoured to have got engaged late last month after flaunting a diamond engagement ring in a short video on Instagram - will walk down the aisle with her on/off beau of four years after he popped the question over Skype.
'The X Factor' USA judge was in Bulgaria when Tim proposed to her, she recalled in an interview on 'The Queen Latifah Show', which airs tomorrow (12.18.13).
She gushed: "He put a ring on it!
"He asked me first on Skype and I was like, 'We're so far away from each other.' But it was so late, I remember we were both just kinda like, honestly, just staring at each other ... and he asked me, and it was just that simple to say yes."
The 32-year-old beauty, who was previously engaged to NFL football player Roy Williams, feels she has finally found the right person and thinks of Tim as her "best friend".
She added: "I was like, 'I got my best friend to ride through life with.' He really is my best friend."
The 'Kisses Down Low' singer is notoriously private about her love life and admits she has kept her romance quiet for quite some time.
She said: "It's been a while. We've kept it very, very low - for years, to be completely honest."
Kim Kardashian has posted a new picture of baby North West.
The 33-year-old reality TV star shared a new snap of her six-month-old daughter gnawing on a white blanket on Instagram.
Underneath she wrote a caption simply reading "SMILE."
The photo is one of only a handful which have been shared by Kim since North was born in June, as her fiance, rapper Kanye West is fiercely protective of his daughter.
Kim was spotted earlier today (12.16.13) in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, out with her baby on a shopping trip with her sister, Kourtney, who had her 17-month-old baby, Penelope, with her.
Meanwhile friends have quashed rumors of third Kardashian sister, Khloe, dating baseball stat Matt Kemp.
Khloe was pictured heading to the gym with Matt on Friday (12.13.13) just hours after filing for divorce from estranged husband Lamar Odom, but sources insist they are just friends.
An insider told People.com: "They are just friends and have been for a long time. Khloe is absolutely heartbroken right now [over Lamar] and dating someone is the last thing she's thinking about."
Chris Brown's probation has been revoked.
A Californian judge took away the 'Fine China' singer's right to freedom in light of his arrest in October for an alleged assault in Washington, D.C., but rather than sentencing him to jail, has said he can continue with his current 90 day court-ordered rehab treatment for anger management.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James Brandlin said: "I'm pleased he's doing well in the program and for that reason the court is not included to take the defendant into custody."
Chris, 24, is not allowed to leave California except to travel to a hearing for the Washington D.C. assault case on January 8.
The star has been under probation since his 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna.
In addition to staying at the rehab facility, the star will continue to complete 24 hours per week of community service. The court has also ruled he must take his prescription medication and abstain from marijuana, including for medicinal purposes, which is legal when prescribed in California.
A report submitted to the court and obtained by E! news states he is making progress.
It reads: "[Chris has] made improvements and positive behavior change in the program since his arrival. He is participating in multiple daily group and individual therapy sessions, including anger management.
"[He has] been taken off medical marijuana and is taking psychotropic medication as prescribed.
"[Chris] appears to have a more serious and responsible demeanor and is responding well to dual diagnosis treatment program changes and medication."
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have had relationship counseling.
The Hollywood couple are determined to make more time for each other in 2014, and Justin is adamant their postponed wedding will go ahead next year.
A source told MailOnline.com: "Jen and Justin love each other, they are fully committed. They had hoped to be married by now but work commitments this year meant their plans went astray.
"They have had some counseling. They both regret not spending more time together this year and they're determined next year will be different."
The pair will spend Christmas apart - with Jennifer, 44, in Los Angeles with her family and Justin, 42, on the US East coast with his - but they will see 2014 in together on a romantic break to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico.
Jennifer has also said she will be temporarily relocating to New York next year to be with her fiancè when he films TV series 'The Leftovers'.
The couple - who got engaged in Summer 2012 - have also decided on a smaller scale affair then they finally tie the knot.
The source added: "Jen and Justin are looking at it like it's a party for their friends. They've downgraded the scale of their wedding. Justin is adamant it will happen in 2014 but that it will be more, 'Spontaneous and organic' than they'd previously wanted."
Jennifer has previously said she was in no rush to marry while promoting her recent film 'We're the Millers' this summer.
She said: "We already feel married. We're really just happy and in love."
Justin Timberlake stopped a concert so one of his fans could propose last night (15.12.13).
The 'Take Back the Night' singer was performing in Louisville, Kentucky, as part of his '20/20 Experience Tour', but halted the show after singing 'That Girl' so Josh Clemons could propose to girlfriend Kim Martin.
Justin headed over to the side of the stage, where he asked Josh if he had a drink, and invited him and the unsuspecting Kim to introduce themselves.
He then brought them onstage, telling Kim: "Josh called me earlier. He's got something he wants to tell you."
The singer then exited as Josh got down on one knee and made his proposal, which Kim accepted, sending the 22,000-strong crowd wild with cheers of congratulation.
Justin then returned, bringing the happy couple shots and leading fans in a toast.
He said: "This is for Josh and Kim. Louisville is for lovers, baby!"
Josh said organizing the extra-special proposal took him over 100 phonecalls and emails.
He told the WDRB.com: "On Friday I finally caught [Justin's manager] on the phone and he said Justin had a big plan and wanted to know if I was ready to do it big. I said definitely."
Kim was amazed by the proposal, and said Justin was a true gentleman when she met him backstage after the concert.
She said: "He was just very involved in this. I was very surprised he took initiative to help him so much and the way he talked with us."
A jury should honour Farrah Fawcett's wishes and force Ryan O'Neal to hand over a portrait of the late actress done by Andy Warhol to the University of Texas at Austin, a lawyer for the school argued Monday.
The Oscar-nominated actor's attorney, however, urged jurors to allow O'Neal to keep the portrait, citing numerous witnesses who testified that Fawcett told them the artwork belonged to O'Neal.
The lawyers made their cases during closing arguments in the case that could go to the jury of six men and six women later in the day.
Fawcett's image was displayed throughout closing arguments by university attorney David Beck and O'Neal's attorney Marty Singer. For much of Singer's arguments, an actual-size copy of the 40-inch by 40-inch Warhol portrait was displayed within a few feet of jurors.
O'Neal contends the artwork was given to him as a gift by Warhol and did not belong to Fawcett when she died in 2009. The "Charlie's Angels" star left all her artwork to the university; her gift included another version of the Warhol portrait created in 1980 for a television special on his craft aired by "20/20."
O'Neal told jurors while testifying that his version represents an important connection to his longtime lover.
In his closing argument, Beck screened clips from Fawcett's reality show and the "20/20" broadcast and also showed Fawcett's trust and insurance documents that he said support the school's claim that it now owns the portrait.
"You've seen Farrah, you've heard from Farrah," Beck said. "Please, please, speak for her."
Jurors have heard nearly three weeks of testimony from Fawcett's former collaborators and numerous friends.
Craig Nevius, a reality television producer who collaborated with Fawcett on her reality show, testified that he believed O'Neal stole the portrait from the star's home days after her death.
However, several of Fawcett's friends and a former caretaker testified for O'Neal that she told them that one of the Warhol portraits belonged to the actor.
One of the Warhols hung in O'Neal's home from 1980 until 1998 — a year after Beck contended the couple's relationship changed when Fawcett caught the actor having an affair.
The lawyer reminded jurors that they had been shown evidence that the actress paid for insurance for both portraits from at least 2002 until the time of her death.
O'Neal testified that he brokered the deal for Warhol to make the Fawcett portrait in exchange for receiving one copy. Beck, however, pointed to "20/20" footage that showed Fawcett appearing onstage at a Houston party and telling the audience that the artist had agreed to paint her portrait.
Singer described O'Neal and Fawcett as being like a married couple throughout their nearly 30-year relationship, despite never exchanging marriage vows. He said the actor had permission from the trustee of Fawcett's estate to remove the portrait from the home of the actress.
He also argued that the university's case is about greed and the school should be satisfied with the one Warhol painting of Fawcett that it received from her estate.
School officials have said they intend to display the two portraits side by side in its Blanton Museum of Art if they win the case.
