Spotify reveals 2013's most-streamed artists

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Rihanna and Imagine Dragons had a stellar year.

While Miley and The Fox captured viewers' attention, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Rihanna and Imagine Dragons were the artists that people were listening to, if Spotify's 24 million listeners are any indication.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis were crowned most-streamed artist worldwide in the Web-streaming service's year in review, as was the duo's debut album, The Heist. Can't Hold Us was the most-streamed song, with Thrift Shop in third behind Avicii's Wake Me Up. Thrift Shop has pulled in 160 million streams to date.

Domestically, though, Las Vegas band Imagine Dragons' Radioactive was the most streamed track, with Macklemore's Thrift Shop coming in second. Rihanna holds the title of most-streamed female artist in the world, with Lana Del Rey and Pink filling out the second and third spots. Teen wunderkind Lorde is unsurprisingly the most viral new artist.
