Pink Patch Project: Norwalk Police Raising Funds To Fight Breast Cancer

NORWALK, Conn. — Norwalk police are helping to raise awareness of breast cancer through the Pink Patch Project — and you can join the cause, too.

The Pink Patch Project is a collaborative effort among law enforcement agencies to combat breast cancer.

The Norwalk Police Department, the Norwalk Police Benevolent Association and the Norwalk Hospital Smilow Family Breast Health Center are partnering this month to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research and treatment.

During October, members of the Norwalk Police Department will be wearing Pink Patches on their uniforms to help raise awareness.

You can join the Norwalk Police Department in raising funds for the Smilow Family Breast Health Center at Norwalk Hospital. The Pink Patches are for sale for $20 each.

"We look forward to your support of this worthy cause," Norwalk police said in a Facebook post.
